As a business, you pay for any waste you produce to be taken away. Whether it's recycled or put in a landfill site, waste costs you money.
You can minimise these costs by reducing the amount of you produce in the first place. To do so, you need to work out what type of waste you are producing. Each different type of waste is referred to as a waste stream.
Waste that can be recycled is valuable. Unless you are recycling your valuable resources, you might as well throw money away.
